Step 1
Preheat the Oven. Start by preheating your oven to 350°F.
Step 2
Slice the buns. Slice the slider buns down the middle vertically. I sliced them in rows of 4, but I think they would maybe work even better if sliced in rows of three. It all depends on the brand of hotdogs and the brand of Hawaiian rolls you decide to use. They differ in size. So, mix, match, and measure before you get started.
Step 3
Sprinkle on the cheese. Place the shredded cheddar cheese into the vertical cuts you made to the Hawaiian rolls.
Step 4
Add the dogs. Top the shredded cheddar with the hot dogs and press down firmly to ensure you still have plenty of room for the chili.
Step 5
Top with chili. Spoon chili on top of the hot dogs. Use homemade or canned—beans or no beans. I’m not here to judge, just to help you make some delicious party food!
Step 6
Sprinkle on more cheese. Sprinkle on more shredded cheese to help hold the chili inside of the Hawaiian rolls. If you’re feeling extra saucy, consider using nacho cheese instead.
Step 7
Bake to Perfection. Place the assembled sliders on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Step 8
Serve and Enjoy. Your Chili Dog Sliders are ready to be devoured. Serve them warm with your favorite sides!
