Step 1
Add all your ingredients in a deep pan.
Step 2
Gently heat up the chili oil until the ingredients start to fry.
Step 3
Fry for a few minutes until the spices become aromatic. Remove from the heat and allow to cool completely.
Step 4
When completely cool, remove the cinnamon and star anise and transfer to an airtight container. Use when needed for spicy dishes.
