Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a 9x13-inch baking pan parchment paper, leaving overhangs on the sides. Or grease the pan with non-stick spray or butter.
Step 2
In a large bowl, whisk together brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla until well-combined.

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually pour the flour mixture into the brown sugar-butter mixture. Mix the ingredients with a spatula just until you no longer see streaks of flour. Gently mix in chocolate chips.

Spread the batter evenly into the greased pan. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the top is crisp and golden brown. Set the pan on a wire rack and cool for at least 20 minutes.
Step 6
If lined with parchment paper, use the overhangs to lift the blondies onto the serving plate. If greased, flip the blondies over onto the plate. Slice into bars with a plastic knife. Serve and enjoy!
