Michelle Leslie says: June 26, 2020 at 9:24 am no video in the choc chip cookie recipe (says see video). Thanks. Kelly says: June 26, 2020 at 10:02 am There’s a video playing, maybe try scrolling up. I promise it’s there:) Anna Wong says: June 27, 2020 at 6:21 pm Is the temperature right? 475’ or 375’I would like to make these cookies as they look delicious but I’ve never baked cookies at 475. Please advise. Thank you! Kelly says: June 29, 2020 at 8:46 am It’s 475:) Gloria Starnes says: June 29, 2020 at 6:32 pm 475 is way to hot they will burn I did 350 for 10 mins perfect Wendi says: June 28, 2020 at 3:02 pm Nope, no video. Kelly says: June 29, 2020 at 8:45 am Yes, there’s a video. Michele says: June 30, 2020 at 3:21 pm I had to try different browsers. The video finally showed up in my Brave browser. Kelli says: June 28, 2020 at 3:41 pm Your temperature says 475* is that an error? Kelly says: June 29, 2020 at 8:45 am No Donna says: June 28, 2020 at 4:03 pm The recipe looks delicious but calls for 3 T of corn starch. Comparable recipes call for 2 t. of cornstarch and almost double the rest of the ingredients. I’m just checking on the amount of cornstarch?? Thank you. Kelly says: June 29, 2020 at 8:45 am Our recipe has 3 Tablespoons Kelly says: June 29, 2020 at 11:16 am I admit that I had to read the recipe a few times to make sure I was using the proper amount of ingredients, but these cookies turned out amazing! I don’t like crunchy cookies, but the high temperature gives the slightest bit of texture on the top with the total gooeyness in the middle, it is unreal! Great recipe! Thank you! Kelly says: June 29, 2020 at 12:01 pm I’m so glad you loved them! Tricia says: June 29, 2020 at 3:55 pm Do you use saltednor unsalted butter? Kelly says: June 29, 2020 at 4:55 pm I use salted butter because that’s what I normally have on hand. Both will work! Andrie says: June 29, 2020 at 5:48 pm Thank you so much for a great recipe. This is exactly the texture that I was looking for. The top crunchy while gooey in the middle. I used only 3/4 cup of chocolate chips. Kelly says: June 29, 2020 at 5:55 pm YUM! Gloria Starnes says: June 29, 2020 at 6:27 pm 475 is way too hot to bake anything especially cookies and cakes turn the heat down avoid burning I baked at 350 for 10 mins came out perfect Autumn says: June 29, 2020 at 6:40 pm These…are…AMAZING! Wow! So quick to mix up and 6 min was absolutely perfect! Kelly says: June 30, 2020 at 9:52 am We agree! Glad you loved them:) Aimee B. says: June 30, 2020 at 12:34 pm I made the version with applesauce and since I only bake in my toaster oven, I reduced the temp to 375 and baked them for about 6-7 minutes. These got a huge thumbs up from my entire family. They are yummy both warm and cooled. Also, like a couple other people, I couldn’t find the video, or a link to it. I scrolled up and down several times, but it honestly isn’t there. I clicked on the little video icon on the side of the page, which takes me to your Youtube, but the recipe wasn’t there. Just wanted to let you know that you may want to repost it or add a link. Anyway, thank you for the recipe. 🙂 Heather says: July 2, 2020 at 2:42 pm Can i use milk chocolate chips instead of semi sweet Kelly says: July 5, 2020 at 10:42 am Of course! Bunny says: July 12, 2020 at 7:15 am I always combine any add-ins, i.e. chocolate chips, nuts, coconut, etc. w/ flour before adding. This cuts down on mixing time. Alice T. says: July 12, 2020 at 8:52 am Is there a substitute for the cornstarch? I don’t usually keep that on hand but don’t want to change the consistency of the cookies. The video automatically plays on the bottom right of my screen. I am using Chrome though if that makes any difference. Amber says: July 12, 2020 at 12:46 pm These were amazing! I loved them! The first batch I did was smaller because I like to test out baking times before I throw them all in the oven. 6 minutes was a tad undercooked for me but 7 minutes was perfect! Any more than that and they would certainly have burned but at 7 minutes they did not. Thanks for making my day with this delicious recipe! ~Michelle~ says: July 12, 2020 at 1:52 pm Great recipe! I was unable to get your print feature to work, however…tried from both phone & computer, and it shows blank. Christy says: July 17, 2020 at 11:45 am Can you please verify the amount of brown sugar? Kelly says: July 17, 2020 at 11:50 am 6 Tablespoons Preshita says: July 18, 2020 at 11:52 am These are delicious. I also cooked them at 350 for approximately 14 minutes. They are divine!! Made them using applesauce- thank you for the egg substitute!! These are THE BEST ones I’ve ever made. We have made them twice in a week because we can’t stop eating them. Our new family favorite. I do half semi /half mile chips but that all I did differently. Thanks for sharing!! Kelly says: July 21, 2020 at 1:03 pm Thank you!! Laurie Beitzel says: July 21, 2020 at 10:40 pm Oh wow. These are amazing. It was a billion degrees today and I wasn’t going to turn on my oven but… it was worth the sacrifice of comfort for these lovely morsels of goodness. I usually tweak recipes but followed this one exactly (well maybe more chocolate chips). It may just be THE chocolate chip cookie recipe I’ve been looking for! The few left over may turn into ice cream sandwiches tomorrow! Thanks so much for sharing! Kelly says: July 22, 2020 at 7:40 am Thank you, Laurie! Glad you enjoyed them:) Stay cool today! Kelly says: July 22, 2020 at 8:13 am I’m sure you could!
