Step 1

Preheat oven to 300°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

Step 2

Bake walnuts in a shallow pan, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes or until toasted.

Step 3

In a bowl using an electric mixer, beat egg whites and vanilla extract on high speed until foamy.

Step 4

Add Splenda Sugar Blend, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff peaks form. Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips.

Step 5

Spoon rounded teaspoons of mixture onto baking sheets.

Step 6

Bake for 15 minutes.

Step 7

Reduce oven temperature to 200°F. Bake for one hour and 45 minutes.

Step 8

Cool slightly, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
