Step 1

Start by mixing the cane sugar, butter, vanilla extract, and cocoa in your stand mixer.

Step 2

Add the eggs and mix well.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, stir the flour and baking powder to combine. Gradually add this blend to the cocoa mixture in the bowl.

Combine well.

Step 5

When done, place the bowl in the refrigerator to chill overnight, or for about 5-6 hours.

The next morning, preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

Take the chilled dough and roll 1 inch sized balls.

Step 8

Roll each ball in confectioner's sugar, then flatten them slightly.

Step 9

Place these on a parchment paper-lined cookie tray. Leave a 3 inch distance between each cookie.

Step 10

Pop the tray into the oven for 12-14 minutes.

Step 11

When the cookies start to puff up and the tops begin to crack, you know your Crinkle Cookies are done.
