Step 1
Place parchment paper over a baking sheet. Divide the chow mein noodles evenly between 2 small bowls.
Step 2
Melt the chocolate chips, peanut butter, 1 teaspoon of the butter, and a pinch of sea salt either in your microwave or in a small pan over low heat. When it's melted, stir it well then pour it over the chow mein noodles in one bowl.
Step 3
Mix the noodles and chocolate well then create 4 small nests with the chocolate noodles on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 4
Next, melt the white chocolate with the remaining teaspoon of butter and a pinch of salt then pour it over the other bowl of chow mein noodles and toss to coat. Form into 4 nests on the baking sheet.
Step 5
Set the baking sheet aside for at least 2 hours. You can also place the nests in your fridge to speed things up.
Step 6
Carefully remove the nests from the baking sheet using an offset spatula or knife. Place little chocolate eggs or jelly beans inside the nests before serving. Happy Easter!
