Step 1
Preheat oven to 360°F (180°C) and have 2 ramekins sitting ready on a small baking tray. Skip this step if using an air fryer.
Step 2
Before you zest the orange cut a nice slice from one end to save for decoration later. You'll probably need to cut a couple of slices off before you get through to a fleshy bit. Set aside for later.
Step 3
Zest the rest of the orange and add to your blender. Then cut the rest of the orange into quarters and squeeze out the juice. You need ¼ cup (60ml). There should be plenty but in the unlikely event you don't have quite enough make it up to ¼ cup with a little extra milk.
Step 4
Add the orange juice to the blender along with the oats, cocoa, sugar, baking powder, and milk. Blend until smooth.
Step 5
Pour evenly between 2 ramekins. Poke some chocolate chips down into the batter with a clean finger.
Step 6
Cut the reserved slice of orange in half and rest a piece gently on top of the batter in each ramekin then decorate with some more chocolate chips.
Step 7
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or place in an air fryer basket and air fry at 350°F (175°C) for about 15 minutes. They look done way before they are actually are so it's important to check with a toothpick, thin knife or skewer before removing. It should come out clean when stuck into the centre.
Step 8
Remove carefully and devour immediately.
