Candy coating to the best of my knowledge is "wafer" candy melts used to make pops or molded.  Anyhow, that's what I used.

What is white candy coating?? Almond Bark?

Wow! This is so delicious!! And it could not be easier to make. I made it exactly as written and I have had nothing but raves from family and friends. Really good and creamy. I made mine thicker & coated them with chocolate because it seems to melt between your fingers. It reminds me of Gardner's peanut butter melt-a-ways. Took it to a family gathering and it was praised by all. A keeper for sure.!

This recipe is delicious.  It melts easily though, so definitely keep the candy refrigerated.  So easy and a great gift!

I made this for family in friends for Christmas. I couldn't ship it because it needs to be refrigerated, but it's great for local distribution.The candy tastes almost like Reese's P-Nut-Butter Cups. It's hard to stop at one piece.It's a super easy recipe, definitely try it.

I have made something very similar, and it is delicious!  If you can't find the candy discs or Almond Bark, I have also made it with white chocolate chips.

I have a very similar recipe called "Tiger Butter".  Melt 1 pound of white chocolate with 1 pound of smooth peanut butter over low heat.  Pour into 9 x 13 pan.  Melt 1 pound of semi-sweet chocolate morsels over low heat and pour over white chocolate and peanut butter.  Swirl together with a knife.  Chill and cut into pieces.  It disappears at church dinners!
