Christmas Drops

Step 1

Coat kitchen scissors with cooking spray. Finely snip the 1/4 cup red gumdrops; toss with 2 teaspoons of the sugar. Finely snip the 1/4 cup green gumdrops; toss with the remaining 2 teaspoons sugar.

Step 2

In a 1-quart jar layer flour, the 1 cup sugar, the baking powder, salt, the snipped red gumdrops, and the snipped green gumdrops. Place white chocolate and the 40 gumdrops in separate small resealable plastic bags; seal bags. Set bags on top of layered mix in jar; fasten lid. Include directions for making cookies with gift.
