(1 gallon) cranberry juice (or cranberry mixed with pomegranate), well chilled

Make sure all the ingredients are very cold. Scoop the sherbet into a large punch bowl, then pour in the cranberry juice and ginger ale and stir gently.

Can you make this with Prosecco and/or vodka? If so, what would be the amts.

I love it I think it's really good recipe for punch and my family or I made it for the year before they left it so this will be my second you're making this point it's very very good

My mom did this years ago.  I had forgot about it.  

It was a hit with everyone. Make sure your drinks are really cold so as not to melt the ice cream too quickly.

This is our 3rd year of having it at our party and our kids actually ask if we're making it ! So good.

I have made this! It is a hit. I added whole fresh cranberries. You can eat them and it makes it look pretty!

This punch was delicious and everyone including the kids loved it! I substituted the ginger ale for sprite. I would let it sit for a few minutes so the sherbet can melt and mix in with the cranberry juice first before serving.

Very good! Easy, refreshing, and serves 20 like it says. Doesn't fit in a traditional punch bowl though so I used half and put the rest in halfway through party. Was a preferable way to serve it so there was fresh sherbet and soda. 

I saw this on your Christmas special Saturday night and decided to serve it for my Christmas Bunco Party last night!  I could not find Raspberry Sherbert at the store so I substituted Raspberry Yogurt.  It was a huge hit!  Everyone just loved it!!
