Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350º F.
Step 2
Mix the water and cornstarch in a bowl until well blended.
Step 3
Peel and slice the apples thickly. Place them in an ovenproof baking dish.
Step 4
Pour over the water/cornstarch mixture and mix well.
Step 5
Add the brown sugar and mix so that all the apple slices are coated in it. Sprinkle with the cinnamon.
Step 6
Bake for 15 minutes. Serve warm.
