Step 1
Prepare the oven and pan. Preheat the oven to 350F and spray a 9×13 casserole dish with nonstick spray.
Step 2
Cut the cinnamon rolls and apples. Open the can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls. Place them on a cutting board and cut each unbaked cinnamon roll into four equal-sized pieces. Cut the apples from the apple pie filling into bite-sized pieces.
Step 3
Layer the ingredients. Place one can of cut cinnamon roll dough into the bottom of the casserole dish. Place half of the can of apple pie filling on top of the dough Repeat the layers with the second can of cut refrigerated cinnamon roll dough and the remaining apple pie filling.
Step 4
Bake. Place the assembled apple pie cinnamon roll casserole into the preheated oven. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until it is baked through and golden brown.
Step 5
Drizzle with frosting. Remove the cinnamon roll bake from the oven. Drizzle the top of the casserole with the two containers of frosting that was included with the refrigerated cinnamon rolls.
Step 6
Serve and enjoy! Cut the casserole into individual servings, serve with your favorite breakfast sides, and enjoy hot out of the oven.
