Citrus Buttercake

Step 1

Preheat oven to 190C. Grease and line base of a 20cm cake pan with baking paper.

Step 2

Place all ingredients into a mixing bowl. Blend on low speed until all ingredients are combined, then beat on medium speed for one minute.

Step 3

Pour mixture into prepared cake tin and bake for 30-35 minutes.

Step 4

Allow to cool slightly in pan before inverting onto cake cooler.

Step 5

Once cool, ice with lemon frosting, or dust with icing sugar.
