Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, 1 of the eggs, and 8 tablespoons of the butter and mix well with an electric mixer.

Pat the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.

Step 6

Add the remaining eggs, the vanilla, and the remaining butter to the cream cheese and beat together.

Step 7

Add the powdered sugar to the cream cheese mixture and mix well.

Step 8

Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter and bake until golden-brown, about 40-50 minutes.
