Prepare the Vegetables: Lay out the thinly sliced cucumbers and onion on a platter. Sprinkle salt on both sides of each slice. Let them sit for 30 minutes to release moisture.

Drain and Dry: After 30 minutes, transfer the slices to a colander to drain. Squeeze gently to remove extra water and pat dry with paper towels.

Mix the Dressing: In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, sugar, vinegar, dill, and parsley. Stir well to blend the ingredients.
