For many, cilantro is the key to making the best guacamole. Serve this with chips, crackers, or crudites.

Classic Guacamole

avocados

lime juice

tomato,

jalapeno, minced

garlic clove,

red onion, finely chopped

cilantro leaves

salt and ground pepper

In a medium bowl, lightly mash avocados, then stir in lime juice, tomato, jalapeno, garlic, red onion, and cilantro. Season with salt and pepper.

Made this very fast. It was last minute and I didn't have all the ingredients so I improvised but it still turned out amazing and my guests were raving about it. Didn't have jalapeño so I added jalapeño powder and I didn't have tomato so I added red bell pepper instead. It was absolutely delicious. Next time I will make sure to have all the correct ingredients.

We are big fans of avocados here in the kitchen, so when we made this dip, we didn't stop eating till the last bite was gone. I kept it simple, leaving out the tomato, but adjust to your liking, then dig in!
