Export 6 ingredients for grocery delivery
In a large bowl, combine water with yeast and set aside until foamy, 4 to 5 minutes. Next, add the flour, butter, sugar, and salt. Mix with a wooden spoon until all ingredients are fully incorporated and a dough has formed. On a floured surface, knead the dough until smooth, about 3 to 5 minutes. Place on a large parchment sized baking sheet and cover with a kitchen cloth. Let rise for 45 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 400° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut dough into 12 small balls. Knead and stretch each ball into a breadstick about 8" long and 1" wide. Place on prepared baking sheet and let rest for 10 minutes. Brush with butter and bake until golden, 20 minutes. Brush with more melted butter and sprinkle with salt and garlic powder. Serve.
