Step 1

Dough: Microwave the milk for 30 seconds until it’s lukewarm.

Step 2

In the bowl of an electric mixer, add the warm milk, sugar and yeast, then stir lightly and set aside until the yeast is foamy.

Step 3

Add eggs, melted butter, and kosher salt to the yeast mixture and mix until just combined.

Step 4

Add the flour in 2-3 batches and continue to beat on low speed until dough comes together. Turn out dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, until smooth.

Step 5

Rise: Oil a bowl and place the dough inside. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise an hour until doubled in size.

Step 6

Shape: Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Return the dough to a floured surface and roll to a 1"-thick rectangle. Cut dough into 24 squares. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheets about ½ an inch apart. Cover with a towel and let rise another hour.

Step 7

Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter and brush half over the top of each roll. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the tops are golden. Let cool 2-3 minutes, then brush the hot rolls with the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.

Step 8

Cinnamon Honey Butter: In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer to whip the powdered sugar, honey, salt, cinnamon, and butter until well combined. Serve alongside the hot rolls & enjoy!
