Step 1

Put the chicken breasts in a big pot and cover them with chicken broth.

Step 2

Heat it until it starts to boil.

Step 3

Turn down the heat and let it cook for about 20-25 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.

Take the chicken out and let it cool down.

Step 5

Once it's cool, shred the chicken into small pieces.

Step 6

In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.

Slowly add the milk while stirring until you have dough.

Put the dough on a floured surface and gently knead it.

Step 9

Roll the dough out until it's about 1/4 inch thick.

Step 10

Cut the dough into small squares with a knife or pizza cutter.

Bring the chicken broth back to a boil.

Step 12

Drop the dumplings into the broth one at a time, stirring occasionally so they don’t stick together.

Turn down the heat and let the dumplings cook for 15-20 minutes until they are soft and cooked through.

Put the shredded chicken back into the pot with the dumplings.

Stir everything together and add pepper and more salt if needed.

Let it cook for another 5-10 minutes to make sure everything is hot.
