Preheat oven to 250F.
Pop the kernels and spread them out onto a greased baking sheet. Add peanuts and stir well.
In a small saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar and molasses. Bring to a boil on medium high heat, stirring constantly until it comes to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes.
Remove from heat and add baking soda and salt. Stir well until foamy and pour over popcorn and peanuts. Take time to stir well and coat popcorn evenly.
Bake for 50-60 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to cook evenly.
Allow to cool, breaking any large pieces.
Store in an airtight container for 3-5 days.
