Step 1
Place all the wet and dry ingredients in the bread machine pan in the order recommended by the bread machine manufacturer.
Step 2
Select and start the dough cycle.
Step 3
Add the cranberry and walnuts when the machine beeps for add-ins. (Or add them to nut dispenser before the cycle starts)
Step 4
Remove the dough after the dough cycle is complete.
Step 5
On a lightly floured surface knead the dough into a ball.
Step 6
Line a Dutch oven with the parchment paper and place the dough ball on it.
Step 7
Cover the dutch oven with the lid and allow the dough to rise for about 45 minutes until it doubles in volume.
Step 8
Preheat the oven to 450°F.
Step 9
Score the dough with a sharp knife and then cover the lid.
Step 10
Place the Dutch oven with the dough in the oven and bake covered for 25 minutes at 400 °F.
Step 11
Bake the bread uncovered for 20 minutes at 400 °F.
Step 12
Take the bread out and place on a cooling rack.
Step 13
Once the bread is completely cooled down, slice it with a serrated knife or an electric knife.
