Step 1

First, cook the pasta according to the packaging instructions.

Step 2

While the pasta is cooking, melt the 2 tablespoons butter and cook the minced garlic in a saute pan over medium heat for 1 minute or until fragrant.

Step 3

Next whisk in the 3 tablespoons flour to create a roux and then whisk in the vegetable broth.

Step 4

Slowly add in the 1 & 1/4 cups of milk, whisking continuously to create a creamy mixture.

Step 5

Once it begins to simmer mix in the 1/2 cup parmesan along with salt and pepper to taste. Continue to whisk until the cheese has melted into the cream.

Step 6

Turn off the heat, stir in the drained pasta, and top your Creamy Garlic Parmesan Pasta with fresh parsley and parmesan. Enjoy!
