Step 1

With a sieve, rinse quinoa under running cold water. Drain. Set aside.

Step 2

In a sauce pan, add olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped garlic. Saute until golden brown. Happens quickly!

Step 3

Add quinoa, let toast for about 1 minute.

Step 4

Add chicken broth, raise heat to high, when it comes to a boil, cover with a lid and lower heat to medium, cook until most of liquid absorbs and quinoa is soft, for about 15 minutes.

Step 5

Stir in grated parmesan cheese. Serve warm.
