Step 1
Add the refried beans to a medium sized bowl and add in the spices. Depending on how thick your refried beans are, you can add a tablespoon or two of warm water to loosen them up. Mix refried beans until smooth and spices are mixed in.
Step 2
Heat a large pan over low-medium heat and spray with cooking oil, or add your regular cooking oil/butter to the pan.
Step 3
Lay tortilla flat and spread on a thin layer of the refried beans. Depending on how large your tortillas are, you will want to use about 1/4 – 1/3 cup of refried beans. Top with a layer of shredded cheese and make sure to spread it to the edges of the tortillas.
Step 4
Tightly roll the tortilla up, using your hands, into a roll shape. Place in the pan, seam side down and allow to cook until browned. The cheese should melt and seal the tortilla together. Cook burrito a few minutes on each side, until golden brown
Step 5
Serve crispy rolled burritos with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
