Ingredients: 1 cup cucumber vodka; 1 cup tonic water; 1/2 cup cucumber juice; 1/4 cup fresh lime juice; 1/4 cup simple syrup (equal amounts sugar and water heated until sugar dissolves; cool); Handful fresh mint leaves; Ice cubes, for serving

Divide the ingredients in half, add each half to a cocktail shaker and shake to combine. Pour over rocks glasses filled with ice and serve.

This is a GREAT COCKTAIL.  Highly recommend!  I did adjust the tonic. My first batch was bitter because the tonic overpowered the cucumber flavor.  This was easily fixed by substituting club soda for tonic.  If you want a bit of tonic flavor, use 1 part club soda and 1 part tonic.  Day of the party it was a huge hit.  Several other drinks were offered but everyone wanted repeats of this one. I ended up making several batches.  When I ran out of the cucumber-infused vodka I'd made, I just substituted Grey Goose and no one could tell the difference so if you're infusing vodka yourself as I did, you can probably skip that step.  The cucumber juice is enough in my opinion.  Agree with the other reviewers that it is work-intensive to squeeze the limes and make the cucumber juice but these fresh ingredients are really the key to an over-the-top cocktail!  I copied Coquetta in San Francisco and served mine in Riedel stemless cabernets with the aromatics tossed in and people RAVED about it.

Delish. Bit of a pain without a juicer...Pearl make a cucumber vodka - at a good price. During the summer Pearl makes double packs with 1 bottle of citrus and 1 bottle of cucumber at a great price. The cucumber vodka is good with a light citrus soda as well.

This recipe was DELICIOUS! There was a bit of work to get all the ingredients (cucumber vodka was hard to find, and cucumber juice was annoying without a juicer., but it was definitely worth the work to at least try something new at home. 

Its a great receipe, I juiced my cucumber in my juicer, eliminated the cucumber vodka, but did add some watermellon juice, very refreshing and delicious

You can buy Hendricks Gin at most liquor stores. It's already infused with rose hips and cucumber.  (but it's kind of expensive, so hold on)  I love cucumber gin tonics, so let me help you out a little.  If you just add a couple of peeled cucumber slices to your glass, pour in the gin and then the tonic, you have a delightful drink without all the work. You can muddle the cucumbers a little with the gin before adding the tonic, but if you do that, you have to strain this first through cheese cloth, otherwise you have seeds and flesh floating in your drink.  I don't mind it, but some people do. This flavor combination is "Out of this World" delicious!

Made my own cucumber vodka, but omitted the cucumber juice. Makes a tasty, sweet cocktail, but between infusing your own vodka, making simple syrup and finding/making cucumber juice, hard to make as is.
