Step 1
Preheat oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper and set aside.

Place flour, salt, butter and golden syrup into mixing bowl and mix 10 sec/speed 6.
Step 3
Add water and milk and knead Dough /20 sec, until combined.
Step 4
Transfer dough onto a lightly floured silicone bread mat or work surface and shape into a round loaf (approx. 18 cm), then place onto prepared baking tray.
Step 5
Dust with a little extra flour, then bake for 25-30 minutes (200°C), or until damper is cooked through and sounds hollow when tapped on the underside. Transfer onto a wire rack to cool. Clean and dry mixing bowl.
Step 6
Place golden syrup into mixing bowl and warm 30 sec/37°C/speed 1.
Step 7
Add butter and mix 30 sec/speed 3. Transfer into a sealable container and place into refrigerator until ready to use.
Step 8
Serve Damper warm with golden syrup butter.
