Making a mug cake from scratch is easy! This chocolate cake is 'baked' in a matter of seconds–yum!

Dark Chocolate Mug Cake

Cake

Land O Lakes® Butter

all-purpose flour

sugar

dark unsweetened baking cocoa *

dark chocolate baking chips

baking powder

Land O Lakes® Egg (yolk only)

water

vanilla extract

Optional Toppings

Caramel sauce

Fudge sauce

Ice cream

Aerosol whipped cream

Sprinkles

Decorator sprinkles

Place butter into large coffee mug; microwave 30-45 seconds or until melted. Add all remaining cake ingredients; mix well with fork. 

Microwave 60-90 seconds or until cake pulls away from sides and top is dry. (Do not overcook.) Cool slightly. Top with desired toppings.
