Step 1
Gather together all of your ingredients.
Step 2
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 3
Combine all of the ingredients except the ketchup in a large bowl and mix them together. Avoid over-mixing the mixture or you may end up with a tough and dry meatloaf. As soon as the ingredients are thoroughly combined, you’re ready for the next step.
Step 4
Spray your pan with cooking spray so that you will have easier cleanup.
Step 5
Shape your meatloaf mixture into a 13×9-inch roasting pan, loaf pan, meatloaf pan, or baking dish.
Step 6
Spoon your ketchup or spaghetti sauce on top of the meatloaf.
Step 7
Bake your meatloaf uncovered for one hour or until an inserted thermometer says it’s done. An instant-read thermometer should register between 160-165 degrees Fahrenheit when the meat is thoroughly cooked.
Step 8
Allow your meatloaf to stand for 10 minutes before you serve it.
Step 9
Cut into 1.5-inch slices and serve with one of our delicious meatloaf side dishes (mashed potato is excellent!), homemade bread, or some caramelized onions.
