Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Coat a 9x13-inch baking pan with nonstick spray.

In the prepared baking pan, evenly sprinkle the pecans and the coconut.

In a large bowl, prepare the chocolate fudge cake batter, according to the package directions.
Step 5
In a small bowl, add 3/4 cup of the chocolate chips and the flour and stir to combine.

Add the flour-coated chocolate chips to the cake batter and fold to combine.

Spoon the cake batter mixture over the pecans and the coconut in the baking pan.

In a microwave-safe bowl, add the butter and microwave it until it has just melted.
Step 9
Allow the melted butter to cool slightly.
Step 10
In a bowl, add the cream cheese and using an electric handheld mixer, beat until smooth.
Step 11
Slowly add the melted butter to the beaten cream cheese, while beating, until smooth and combined.

Add the powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, to the cream cheese mixture and beat after each addition until smooth.

Dollop the cream cheese mixture by the rounded tablespoonful randomly over the top of the cake batter in the baking pan.

Sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips over the cream cheese mixture dollops and the cake batter in the baking pan.

Bake until the chocolate cake is set, about 40-50 minutes.

Serve.
