Easy Apple Crisp

I have been making this recipe for 20 +years.  The only changes I make is to 1) increase the topping by just 25% . 2) plus I forgot to divide   the cinnamon one time , so my topping had 1 & 1/4 t cinnamon and my filling had 1t cinnamon. That worked out so well, that I kept the "mistake" in my version..Also  It really is best to use a mix of sweet and tart CRISP apples..

NOTE : 1Stick COLD Butter is currently not listed in the ingredients. Butter is mentioned in the ingredients BUT not how much. Very good recipe . A staple in our holiday dessert line up. BUT your web sight needs some serious attention. If I search for apple Crisp for example, I do NOT want a 100  9X13 desserts in a 9x13 pan. I just want  whatever I typed in.

This was one of the best apple crisp recipes I've ever used.  The apples were fresh picked and had the perfect tartness.  My husband loves it!  I highly recommend this recipe, quick and simple.

I just took it out of the oven and it's very runny.  I used Gala apples--perhaps too juicy, or I should have added some cornstarch.  I'll serve it to my guests anyway, but I am disappointed.

Simple and good. I made half the recipe in a 9x9 pan, and used 1 cup of oats.

This turned out wonderfully! I followed the recipe exactly and I served it at a BBQ dinner and it got great reviews. The topping was a great caramel brown. Next time, I might try decreasing the white sugar to 1/4 cup, as it seemed like a lot of sugar when I poured it over the apples.

This is a very good recipe. But! don't cut your hand while cutting up the apples. Cuz, it'll make you forget to add the Brown Sugar!

I cut down on the sugar seemed like too much and used rolled oats Not the quick cook oats it was delicious

My house smelled fantastic while this baked! Served it with ice cream and it was a hit!

This is my favorite Apple Crisp recipe and have madit it for years since it appeared in a Taste of Home Magazine.  Serve it warm with vanilla ice cream.

So easy to make. Good for church socials, or family dinner. But be careful it's addictive!

So easy and delicious! Plenty of cinnamon flavor. I cut this recipe in half because I didn't have enough apples on hand. Also, after reading a review that the apple filling was runny, I did add a couple tablespoons of flour to the apple mixture.
