Ingredients: 1 cup raw cashews, soaked; 1 cup of water; 1-2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce (depending on how spicy you want it); Juice from 1/2 lemon or lime (or about 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons); 1 teaspoon smoked paprika; 1 teaspoon garlic powder; 1 teaspoon onion powder; 1 teaspoon salt

This easy chipotle crema is the ultimate topping for tacos, bowls, burritos, and beyond. It's zesty with a kick of spice and can be made in minutes. Once you try it, we promise this will be your new go-to! 

Easy Chipotle Crema

raw cashews, soaked

water

chipotle peppers

lemon

smoked paprika

garlic powder

onion powder

salt

Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and process until smooth and creamy. 

Just made this for burritos for the week!  Yum!  The addition of lemon/lime juice is awesome for a zesty kick.  Thanks for the creative recipe.  Can I put this on my Taco Bell copycat potatoes?
