Using the sharp scissors, cut thin strips, once around for an orange, about 1-1/2 times around for the smaller fruits, lemons, limes, etc.
Step 4
Wrap the rind strip tightly, with pith/white side against toothpick. Hold for 15 seconds and let go onto a plate. Repeat until all are done.
Step 5
Use immediately or put in an airtight container and use in the next couple of days.
