Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Step 2
Unroll thawed puff pastry dough on a cutting board and slice into 12 evenly sized rectangles.
Step 3
Use a small knife to score a border around each rectangle about ½ inch from the edge, not cutting all the way through dough. Pierce the center of each rectangle with a fork a few times to prevent rising.
Step 4
Transfer the scored rectangles to an un-greased baking sheet, placing them at least 1 inch apart (use two baking sheets if necessary).

Mix together the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and lemon juice in a small bowl until smooth.

Spoon filling into the center of each rectangle and spread just until the border cut.
Step 7
Bake for 18-20 minutes or until puff pastry is a light golden brown.
Step 8
In a small bowl, mix together icing ingredients until smooth.
Step 9
Allow danishes to cool for 10-12 minutes then drizzle icing over the top.
