Step 1
Pre heat the air fryer to 375F.
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl add 1/2 cup potato starch and garlic salt. Whisk to combine.
Step 3
Add wingettes and drumettes to the bowl and toss to coat.
Step 4
Spray the basket of the air fryer with nonstick spray. Place chicken in the air fryer in a single layer allowing some space between each piece.
Step 5
Cook for 20 minutes, flipping half way through. You can spray the chicken with nonstick spray if there are dry flour spots.
Step 6
While the chicken is cooking begin making the sauce. In a medium size sauce pan add honey, garlic, shoyu, and 1 tablespoon potato starch and cook over medium high heat. Cook until thickened stirring frequently, about 3-5 minutes. Set aside.
Step 7
Once 20 minutes has passed increase the temperature on the air fryer to 400F and cook for another 10-15 minutes, flipping half way through.
Step 8
Remove chicken from air fryer and place in a large mixing bowl. Add honey garlic sauce and toss to combine, ENJOY!
