Export 6 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Crush the cookies with a rolling pin or in a food processor, until the crumbs resemble dirt.
Step 2
Combine the pudding mix, cocoa powder, milk, and vanilla, and blend with a hand mixer on medium speed for 4 to 5 minutes, or until smooth and thick.
Step 3
Fold the whipped topping into the pudding mixture.
Step 4
Spoon 2 tablespoons of crumbs into a glass or jar, then repeat with 7 more glasses for 8 pudding cups in all.
Step 5
Top the crumbs in each glass with about ⅓ cup of pudding. Top each pudding cup with about 1 tablespoon of cookie crumbs. Top the crumbs in each cup with another ⅓ cup of pudding, and finish each pudding cup with 1 tablespoon of cookie crumbs. (As an alternative, fill an 8x8-inch square pan with all of the pudding and top it with all of the crumbs.)
Step 6
Decorate the dirt pudding, if desired.
Step 7
Serve right away or store the pudding in the fridge.
