Cut the onions into 3/4-1 inch thick slices. You will get between 4-6 per onion. Carefully remove the outer ring and peel, trying to keep the remaining onion intact.
Step 2
Brush the onion slices with olive oil on both sides. Sprinkle with steak seasoning.
Step 3
Place directly on the grill. Cook for 5-7 minutes per side, flipping once they have nice grill marks and easily flip. If they are sticking, they aren't ready to be flipped yet.
