Step 1
In a large mixing bowl using a hand mixer or stand mixer, beat the cream cheese and butter.
Step 2
Add the vanilla extract and both sugars, and beat the mixture until combined.
Step 3
Add ½ cup of white chocolate chips and ½ cup of chopped cnady canesand fold together with a spatula.
Step 4
Line a 6 inch bowl with a long piece of plastic wrap. You want enough plastic wrap to fold over and cover the top of the cream cheese.
Step 5
Pour the cream cheese mixture in the bowl on top of the plastic.
Step 6
Wrap the plastic wrap tightly around the cream cheese mixture.
Step 7
Place the bowl with the cheese ball in the fridge for at least 2 hours and up to overnight to chill and firm back up.
Step 8
Mix the remaining white chocolate chips and chopped peppermints in a large bowl and place the chilled cheese ball on top.
Step 9
Using your hands, lightly press them into the cheese ball and roll it around until it is fully covered
Step 10
Place on a large serving platter with an assortment of cookies, pretzels, graham crackers, and other treats.
