Step 1
Spray slow cooker with nonstick spray and place the pork chops on the bottom of the slow cooker.
Step 2
Sprinkle with seasoning, and then add the sliced onion and mushrooms. Pour the cream of mushroom soup on top.
Step 3
Add 3 cups of chicken broth on top of the cream of mushroom soup, and top with the butter.
Step 4
Cover and cook on low for seven hours. Remove the cover and shred the pork chops using a couple of forks.
Step 5
Pour in the rice and remaining cup of chicken broth. Stir well, being sure the rice, liquid and shredded pork are well combined.
Step 6
Cover and let cook for an additional 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Step 7
Remove cover and stir well before serving while hot.
Step 8
If desired, top with shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions or parsley and serve with garlic bread, Texas toast or biscuits.
