Sinful!  Don't forget the nutmeg!  And use real maple syrup!

I love the flavor of egg nog but not how thick it is.  So when I found this recipe I was excited to try it.  Excellent, delicious, satisfying!  I used regular white bread and got great results.

Nice way to use up some eggnog. cut recipe down for just two of us, excellent! I used light eggnog, because that what we had on hand as well as Texas Toast for the bread. A definite keeper!  Do not skip the step of soaking bread for 2 minutes per side.

I was looking for an easy crowd French toast recipe and this was my saving grace. It's delicious and easy to prepare.

I condensed the recipe to accomodate for two. It was delicous. I highly recommend this recipe.

I haven't actually made this particular recipe, but have my own that is very similar. I use day old french bread cut into thick slices. It's yummy beyond yummy...rich, yes, but worth every calorie!

Yummy, rich. Be sure to cook them long enough.

MADE  THIS  LAST  NIGHT  AND  WOW  THIS  IS  SO  GOOD.  I  HALFED  IT  AND  USED  SLICED  WHEAT  BREAD  AND  IT  WAS  PERFECT!!!!  ADDED  ALITTLE  NUTMEG  AND  WE  DUG  IN.  WHEN  HALFED  IT  MADE  6  SLICES  OF  BREAD.  OUR  DAUGHTER  ATE  2  AND  SHE  HAS  NEVER  DONE  THAT  WITH  FRENCH  TOAST.

Fixed this for brunch this morning and hubby and I thought it was great.  I halved the recipe since it was just the two of us.  I used thick slices of french bread and it worked well.  Love the eggnog flavor.

Delicious!  I used french bread instead and opted for the rum extract.  I really think the rum extract made it even more amazing.  I cut the egg mixture into 1/4 and was about to make about 6 slices of the french bread, perfect for my husband and I.  I also used light egg nog.  I can't wait to make this again!!!

I could not even taste the eggnog in them.  You might as well just use a regular recipe and add nutmeg and cinnamon

Yummers! I'm even going to make them for me Dah on Christmas morning!

For Khrystja--If the egg nog is to thick, and too rich tasting, I dilute it a little with milk, what ever blend I have, skim, 2%, or whole. I think Braum's is the very best, but is available only in Oklahoma and a 3oo mile radius from their dairy at Tuttle.

I made this for Christmas breakfast and it was wonderful.  We will make this often.

This has become a staple for our family around the holidays. We use the full fat nog and add a little extra nutmeg/spices. Smells heavenly!

Added a little fresh squeezed orange juice, grated nutmeg and cinnamon. Halved the recipe and used my own two day old bread. Perfect way to use up the holiday eggnog since it is 190 calories per 1/2 cup - we use sparingly??

I have not made this recipe. I very seldom make French Toast as it is just me, and I don't go to the bother. But I so enjoy it if someone else makes it. The very best French Toast I have ever had was made with French bread. I think that must be the secret. That was at the Dick Clark's American Band Stand Bistro in the airport Terminal in Salt Lake City. I will try this recipe, but will use French Bread, cut diagonally. This sounds so delish.

This is an excellent Christmas French toast recipe.  I was a little hesitant trying It because of the English Muffins.  But it was really good and simple to put together in the morning.
