Step 1
Heat oven to 350°F.
Step 2
In a large bowl, beat butter and sugars on medium speed of electric mixer or Kitchen Aid until creamy.
Step 3
Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
Step 4
Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; mix well.
Step 5
Add oats and raisins; mix well.
Step 6
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto un-greased cookie sheets.
Step 7
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown.
Step 8
Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire rack.
Step 9
Cool completely.
Step 10
Store tightly covered.
