Step 1

Husk corn, removing silk.

Step 2

Boil water and blanch corn for 5-6 minutes.

Step 3

Remove immediately into a pot of ice water. Let sit for 2 minutes.

Step 4

Cut kernels from the cob if desired. Or if freezing on the cob, wrap ears individually with plastic wrap.

Step 5

Place in freezer bags/containers.

Step 6

Remove air, seal, and label.

Step 7

Freeze.
