This is definitely the best lentil soup I’ve ever made/eaten! I’m pitching all my other lentil soup recipes and keeping just this one. The flavor is outstanding. I do take an immersion blender before I add the chicken and I blend half to 3/4 of it. I’m not even done with my first recipe and I just put a second one in the crockpot which I will just freeze and have on standby.

I have made lentil soup for years but have never added a protein before.  I love the chicken in this soup.  Great flavors.

Heartwarming healthy soup that's perfect for winter weather! My Herb de Provence had some lavender in it and I think it adds that extra flavor which makes it even more scrumptious! 🍲 Ideal comfort food with all the snow here in Seattle. 🌨

I skipped the chicken, but it was still hearty and delicious!

This a delicious, unusual recipe! I did not add chicken, but increased the heavy cream to 1/2 cup and got a great result. Slow cookers can very in temperatures; my soup needed an extra 1 1/2 hrs. to cook lentils, before adding the cream. Worth the wait!

This is a perfect fall comfort food.  It's a great, simple slow cooker recipe for busy nights when the weather gets cold!

Hearty soup for fall. French flare is great.
