Step 1

Start by sterilizing your glass jars (if you will store for a few days).

Step 2

Wash the strawberries. Cut the stems off 10 strawberries (this is for the puree).

Step 3

Place the 10 in a mixing bowl. Thoroughly mash them with a fork or heavy utensil. Once its thoroughly mashed, mix in the Sugar (3 Tablespoons). Set aside.

Step 4

Then finely dice 5 additional strawberries (this is for the toppings)

Step 5

Place the mashed strawberries into a pot. Bring it to a boil. Once it starts boiling, stir around for 20-30 seconds. Turn off heat.

Step 6

Now the hard part - wait until the puree completely cools down. (You can briefly place in the freezer to cool it down quicker.)

Step 7

Pour the chilled puree to about 1/4 way up your glass bottles. Then add-in your milk. Don't fill the milk all the way to the top. Save some room for the diced strawberries. Add in as many diced strawberries as your heart pleases :) Twist the lid on.

Step 8

Shake the drink well before drinking.

Step 9

(Note: You can drink it immediately - but we think it tastes better if you let it sit in the refrigerator overnight)

Step 10
