Export 8 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Wrap the block of tofu in a few layers of paper towels, then set on a dinner plate or cutting board. Weigh it down with a heavy object like a skillet. Let it sit for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Tear the tofu into bite-sized pieces.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix all dry ingredients (flour, cornstarch, sugar, coriander and chilli powder).
Step 4
In a different bowl, mix all the wet ingredients (oat milk, flour, baking powder and salt).
Step 5
Line a plate with some paper towels to absorb any excess oil from frying.
Step 6
Heat up some vegetable oil in a deep frying fan.
Step 7
Dip a piece of tofu into the wet ingredients, then move to the dry ingredients bowl and cover it fully in the floury mixture.
Step 8
Fry the tofu until crisp and golden on both sides. When ready, place on the plate covered with the paper towel to absorb any excess oil.
Step 9
Repeat with the remaining pieces of tofu.
Step 10
Enjoy hot with a dipping sauce of your liking.
