Step 1
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until slushy and smooth. Serve in a chilled glass with a lime wedge.
Step 2
Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan set over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
Step 3
Turn the heat off, stir in the lime zest, and let sit for 20 to 30 minutes.
Step 4
Strain into a glass jar and let cool. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks
