Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375°F

Line two baking sheets with parchment paper

Step 3

In a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment or in a large bowl using a hand mixer, blend the butter, both sugars, vanilla and eggs

In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt

Step 5

Gradually add the flour mixture into the butter mixture and blend until combined

Step 6

Stir in the chocolate chips, coconut and pecans

Step 7

Drop the dough by tablespoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheets, 12 cookies per sheet, and bake 8 to 10 minutes

Step 8

Cool on a baking rack
