Step 1

Fill both cocktail shaker and highball glass with ice.

Step 2

Cut lime into wedges and place one wedge on the rim of your glass

Step 3

Add 2 oz of gin to cocktail shaker

Step 4

Add 4 oz of cranberry juice to cocktail shaker

Step 5

Place top on shaker and shake well

Step 6

Replace shaker top with Hawthorne Strainer

Step 7

Pour shaker liquid into highball glass

Step 8

(optional) Top glass off with a splash of cranberry juice

Step 9

(optional) You can add cranberry juice and gin straight to glass and stir with a bar spoon instead of mixing in cocktail shaker if so desired.
