Export 9 ingredients for grocery delivery
Step 1
Heat oven to 320F.
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Stir in raisins and orange zest and set aside.
Step 3
In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together yogurt, milk, melted butter/coconut oil, and egg. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir together. The dough will be sticky; let your dough rest for about 10 minutes to soak up some of the liquid and to firm up a bit.
Step 4
Lightly flour or grease a 9-inch cast iron skillet. With floured hands, shape your dough into a ball and flatten out slightly in the pan (dough shouldn’t be touching the sides of the pan).
Step 5
Cut a cross into the dough with a sharp knife. And smaller slits in each of the quarters. Use any remaining liquid from your wet ingredient bowl to brush over the top and sides of the dough with your hand.
Step 6
Bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Step 7
Cool bread on a cooling rack for about 30 minutes before slicing. Enjoy!
