Step 1
Add goat's milk to instant pot. Place lid on and press yogurt button until it says boil.
Step 2
Allow milk cook until the instant pot beeps. Remove lid and pot.
Step 3
Stir and allow to cool until it comes down to 115 degrees.
Step 4
Add yogurt and whisk together.
Step 5
Place pot back in instant pot and put the lid back on.
Step 6
Push the yogurt button until it says 8 hours.
Step 7
Close to the end of the 8 hours, line a strainer with a fine weave fabric like muslin. (Cheese cloth has too large of holes.) Place strainer over a bowl that it fits into.
Step 8
Once the 8 hours are over, remove pot and scoop yogurt into line strainer. Allow to drain for about a half hour. You can tie up the sides of the fabric or just cover it so nothing gets into it.
Step 9
Scoop yogurt into a container and store in refrigerator.
Step 10
If your yogurt is lumpy, you can blend it with an immersion blender.
Step 11
