Step 1

Add goat's milk to instant pot. Place lid on and press yogurt button until it says boil.

Step 2

Allow milk cook until the instant pot beeps. Remove lid and pot.

Step 3

Stir and allow to cool until it comes down to 115 degrees.

Step 4

Add yogurt and whisk together.

Step 5

Place pot back in instant pot and put the lid back on.

Step 6

Push the yogurt button until it says 8 hours.

Step 7

Close to the end of the 8 hours, line a strainer with a fine weave fabric like muslin. (Cheese cloth has too large of holes.) Place strainer over a bowl that it fits into.

Step 8

Once the 8 hours are over, remove pot and scoop yogurt into line strainer. Allow to drain for about a half hour. You can tie up the sides of the fabric or just cover it so nothing gets into it.

Step 9

Scoop yogurt into a container and store in refrigerator.

Step 10

If your yogurt is lumpy, you can blend it with an immersion blender.

Step 11

Enjoy.
